Our apps

Apps with a point.

Every Boutanna app starts with one everyday habit and a clear design question. Here is what we are building, who it is for and the thinking behind each product.

Deadpoint

Live on the App Store

The climbing log that stays close to the wall. Fast enough to use between attempts, deep enough to show real progress.

The problem

Climbers track progress in notes apps, spreadsheets or not at all. Generic fitness trackers record time and heart rate, but miss what matters on the wall: grades, attempts and sends.

Who it is for

Boulderers and rope climbers, from their first graded problems to long term projects, in the gym and outdoors.

Our approach

Design for the thirty seconds between attempts. A grid of large grade buttons, three clear results and a single button to add the climb. No typing at all.

Core flow
  1. 1Start a sessionIndoor or outdoor, bouldering or rope, and the timer starts
  2. 2Log a climbPick the grade, mark flash, send or attempt, set the tries
  3. 3End the sessionEvery climb stays tied to the session it happened in
  4. 4See progressGrade progression, pyramid, mix and session trends
Design principles
Speed over completeness

Logging must never pull you out of the session. Anything optional stays out of the way.

Context stays attached

A send means more when you can see the attempts and the session behind it.

Readable at a glance

Progress views are built to be understood in a second, even mid session.

Getups

In development

A calmer way to plan outfits and get more from the clothes you already own. Less deciding in the morning, more wearing what you love.

The problem

Most people wear a small part of their wardrobe and still feel they have nothing to wear. Every morning becomes a decision with too many options and too little time.

Who it is for

People who want to dress well with what they already own, without turning their closet into another project to manage.

Our approach

A calm, visual wardrobe and planning that follows the week ahead. Fewer choices, better ones, and nothing that pushes you to buy more.

Core flow
  1. 1Add your piecesBuild a visual wardrobe of what you own
  2. 2Create outfitsCombine pieces into looks you love
  3. 3Plan the weekAssign looks to the days ahead
  4. 4Get dressedWake up with the decision already made
Design principles
Calm by default

No feeds, no streaks, no pressure. The app should lower the noise of getting ready.

Your clothes first

Getups works with the wardrobe you have, not a catalogue of things to buy.

Light touch prompts

Gentle suggestions help you rediscover pieces you forgot you owned.
